The Roof Is the Part That Matters
Most RV owners wash the sides and never touch the roof, and the roof is where the money is. Rubber and TPO roofing degrades under UV, and the residue washes down the sidewalls every time it rains — those black streaks are roof runoff, not dirt. Cleaning and treating the roof stops the streaks at the source, and catching a failing seal before it leaks is worth more than every other line on this page.

Book It Around Storage, Not Around Summer
The two visits that matter are the one before it goes into storage and the one before your first trip. Going into storage dirty means whatever is on the fibreglass sits there for six months in the cold, and black streaks that have wintered on a sidewall are dramatically harder to remove than fresh ones. Autumn is quieter for us too, which usually means a faster booking.
